    WAKEFIELD - Three food pantries in Ironwood, Bessemer and Watersmeet, were given thousands of pounds of food during a recent food drive by the Michigan State Police Wakefield Post. The drive was Oct. 13-26, and was part of the statewide Michigan Harvest Gathering campaign. According to MSP 1st Lt.     IRONWOOD - Ironwood claimed both varsity and junior varsity titles at the recent 15th annual Fall Quiz Bowl at Gogebic Community College. Eighteen teams from six area high schools, including Bayfield, Bessemer, Hurley, Ironwood, Wakefield-Marenisco and Watersmeet, competed. (AP) - A terminally ill woman who expects to take her own life under Oregon's assisted-suicide law says she is feeling well enough to possibly postpone the day she had planned to die.
