The GLCYD will discuss the results of a Youth Asset Report in an effort to demonstrate to the youths that adults care and are interested in hearing from them on a wide range of topics.     IRONWOOD - Ironwood's Downtown Art Place opened a show featuring local student artwork Wednesday. Art teachers from the Wakefield-Marenisco, Bessemer, Ironwood and Hurley schools submitted art work for the show, according to a DAP news release. Pieces from the "Dabble at the DAP" program are also on display. The show is scheduled to run to Nov. 10 in conjunction with the Historic Ironwood Theatre's "HIT Idol" competition.     By JAN TUCKER [email protected] WHITE PINE — The Michigan Attorney General and Michigan Agency for Energy have rejected a protest by the White Pine Power Company about the elimination of the System Support Resolution for the power plant agreement. The Midcontinent Independent System Operator has announced it will terminate the agreement on Nov. 26. The issue now moves on to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission for a final decision.     RAMSAY, Mich. - Chester H. Turula, 85, a lifelong resident of Ramsay, passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning, Nov. 1, 2016, at his home. Chester was born on March 14, 1931, in Wakefield, a son of John and Lillian (Fingeroos) Turula. He grew up in Ramsay and attended the Ramsay School and A.D. Johnston High School in Bessemer.
