IRONWOOD, Mich. — Helen Verbos, 90, passed away Oct. 2, 2018. She was born July 9, 1928, in Ironwood, daughter of George and Mary Verbos, and graduated from Luther L. Wright High School in Ironwood. A funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Ironwood at 11 a.m., with Father Robb Jurkovich officiating. Several Ontonagon County townships, the village of Ontonagon, school boards and county board feature races Tuesday.
