In addition to regular First Friday events, there was an animal showcase and scavenger hunt hosted by HOPE Animal Shelter in Ironwood. IRONWOOD, Mich. - David Milton Hjalmquist, 92, of Ironwood passed away on Nov. 4, 2021, at his home in Ironwood. David was born Jan. 30, 1929, in Ironwood, the son of the late Lars and Mamie (Nyman) Hjalmquist. He graduated from Luther L.
