HURLEY — A pair of men are facing charges related to a number of burglaries in the region, including two in southern Iron County, the Iron County Sheriff’s Office announced Thursday. Larry J. Rush, 65, of Park Falls is charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of theft and two misdemeanor counts of criminal damage to property in connection to alleged burglaries in the Mercer and Springstead areas. IRONWOOD TOWNSHIP, Mich. - Elden D. Erickson, 72, of Ironwood Township passed away at his home on Nov. 6, 2020. He was born June 7, 1948, in Ironwood, son of Helmer and Dorothy (Kaaria) Erickson. He attended local schools, McKinley, Roosevelt, Luther L. Wright High School, Gogebic Community College and Northern Michigan University in Marquette. WAKEFIELD, Mich. — Patricia Ann Jacisin, 68, of Wakefield, passed away on Nov. 10, 2020, in Wakefield. Patricia was born on Feb. 27, 1952, daughter of Bert and Antoinette (Dalle Nogare) Jacisin. She worked at the Highline Corporation in Hurley as an assembly worker. Patricia loved to latch hook rugs, color, and playing bingo.
