    GILE, Wis. - Allan R. "Sonny" Wicklund, 76, formerly a long-time resident of Gile, passed away early Saturday morning, Nov. 18, 2017. Allan was born on Jan. 28, 1941, at home in Gile during a snowstorm, a son of Allan Jalmer and Enid Unelma (Norena) Wicklund. From 1974 to 2014, Sonny enjoyed working at the Look Up Sheltered Workshop and then at the Highline Corporation, both in Hurley. Ero was born on July 11, 1925, in Wakefield, a son of John Axel and Lydia Wilhelmina (Riipinen) Kivi. He attended a trade school in Ironwood.
