The Gogebic County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday agreed to again be a sponsor to seek funding for the project, this time from Bessemer to Ramsay.     GREENSBORO, N.C. - Edward G. Hoeft passed away peacefully in his sleep on Nov. 18, 2017. He was born in Bessemer, Mich., the son of Clarence and Vera Hoeft, on May 22, 1933. He graduated from A.D. Johnston High School and enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving four years. He traveled the world during his career with the Central Intelligence Agency.
