The event included food and refreshments, a performance by the Silver Express, free balloon twisting and face painting and a visit from Santa Claus. Wright K-12 School, Olivia Salazar and Reino Ranta, are starting a Gay-Straight Alliance student group that will hold its first meeting on Dec. 8. The group will provide a safe space for LGBTQ students at Ironwood Area Schools. MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. — Joyce K. (née Barna) Koehler, originally from Ironwood, Michigan, and a longtime resident of Menomonee Falls passed away peacefully on Nov. 17, 2021. Joyce was born on July 9, 1942, to Charles and Bernice Barna of Ironwood. BESSEMER, Mich. - Robert H. Duchaine, 85, formerly of Bessemer, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021. Bob was born on June 25, 1936, in Iron Mountain, a son of Henry and Agnes (Okerlund) Duchaine.
