WAKEFIELD, Mich. - Charles "Charlie" Hautamaki, 88, of Ironwood, went to his heavenly home on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019 in Wakefield, Mich. Charlie was born on Dec. 13, 1930, in Ironwood, the son of Isaac and Mary (Tampio) Hautamaki. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force as a staff sergeant and worked as an airplane mechanic during the Korean War. He was married to Junette Harding, and she preceded him in death.
