    DETROIT (AP) - Matthew Stafford and Reggie Bush did their part to keep the Aaron Rodgers-less Green Bay Packers in the game. Stafford turned the ball over a few times and Bush did once.     IRONWOOD - With snow totals continuing to rise, local ski hills, cross country ski trails and snowmobile trail groomers are preparing for what could be a banner winter. As of 7 a.m. Thursday, Ironwood had received 27.7 inches of snow this season, with more in the forecast through the long Thanksgiving holiday weekend.   • Thanksgiving meal serves Ewen community

    EWEN - An estimated 65 people of all ages were fed at the second annual Southern Ontonagon County Thanksgiving dinner at the Cloverland Senior Center in Ewen early Thursday afternoon. The meal was provided by the Pelkola family, including Melanie and her husband, Ken, along with numerous volunteers. Before organizing this dinner in Ewen, the Pelkola family volunteered at the community Thanksgiving dinners in Bergland for four years.     BESSEMER - Students at A.D. Johnston Middle and High School in Bessemer put their stacking skills to use, creating sculptures from non-perishable food items. The event ends the schools annual can drive, sponsored by the high school Key Club. Students were asked to bring items in to a specific class hour, and then use the cans to create statues, sculptures and other creative ideas.
