    ASHLAND, Wis. — On the afternoon of Dec. 1, 2019, at the age of 86, Eugene “Gene” J. Juoni went to his eternal home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Gene was born in High Bridge, on July 12, 1933 the only child of Jacob and Hannah (Nortunen) Juoni. He was raised on his parent’s farm in High Bridge and spent nearly all his life there.     WAKEFIELD, Mich. - Roselle Marie Pekol Adams, 96, formerly of Ironwood, passed away at Gogebic Medical Care Facility in Wakefield, Michigan on Nov. 29. She was born on August 2, 1923, in Ironwood, the daughter of Stanislaus and Teresa (Doroz) Pekol. Raymond Valentino Bowser, 35, was one of two men arrested Nov. 21 in Duluth during an undercover operation, according to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
