    ONTONAGON - The sounds of hammers pounding nails filled the room on Nov. 7 and Nov. 20 at the Ontonagon High School Building Trades program lab as 39 area high school girls participated in Women in Construction events.     IRONWOOD - Winners in the 2013 Ironwood Gingerbread Contest have been announced. More than 30 entries competed. Participants were judged Thursday afternoon. The candy creations and delicious designs were on display at the Downtown Art Place. The display will continue through Dec. 11, though participants were able to pick up their entries after judging.     MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Regina J. (Cisewski) Peterson, 97, of Minneapolis, passed away on Dec. 4, 2013. Regina was born and raised in Montreal, Wis., where she was a tennis champion and valedictorian of her class.
