Built within that dinner were five area youths competing in a writing competition for kids in grades 6-8 and grades 9-12.     WAUSAU Wis. - James Michael Griffin, age 70, died at Aspirus Wausau Hospital on Dec. 5, 2017. He was born Nov. 3, 1947 in Ballinger, Texas, the son of the late James and Mary (Hall) Griffin. He lived in various places, but called San Angelo, Texas and Ironwood, Mich, his home. James worked as a mail carrier for the US Postal Service for 28 years until his retirement in 2005.
