  • Gogebic Community College hires three to fill positions

    IRONWOOD - Gogebic Community College's board approved the hiring of three new personnel at their meeting on Tuesday night. GCC almunus and Ironwood native, Adam Arthur, will fill the newly created position of Marketing Coordinator, effective Jan. 5. The Director of Student Outreach & Engagement, Cindy Franck, recently resigned her position. The spot will now be filled by Dayle Jackson, the current Director of Student Support Services at GCC.     SHREVEPORT, La. - Ronald Carlson passed away Dec. 7, 2014, in Shreveport, surrounded by his family after a short battle and complications with pancreatic cancer. Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 19, at Forest Park Funeral Home in Shreveport. A celebration of life memorial service is from 2 to 3 at the funeral home chapel with Msgr.
