    ASHLAND, Wis. - Hurley has been good at overcoming slow starts. After losing their first two games, the Midgettes have won four straight.     IRON MOUNTAIN, Mich. — Albert A. Haapala, 95, of Bruce Crossing, passed away Dec. 15, 2014, at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center in Iron Mountain. Albert was born on Nov. 29, 1919, in Paynesville to Henry and Sofia (Morti) Haapala. Albert served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a light truck driver, and also worked as a truck driver for the Bruce Crossing dairy.
