HURLEY - The Hurley riverfront is getting more colorful as members of the Hurley High School art program, taught by Terry Davis, have started a mural on the base of the former railroad bridge that allows all-terrain vehicles to cross the Montreal River into Ironwood. BERGLAND — Four of the six high schools in the Gogebic-Ontonagon Intermediate School District have received bronze ratings from U.S. News and World Reports. Ironwood, Besssmer, Watersmeet and Ontonagon high schools received the awards for mathematics and reading in a national ranking with schools across the nation. ASHLAND, Wis. - Raymond W. "Ray" Mollard, 62, of Ashland, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at the Golden Living Center Court Manor in Ashland.
