    IRONWOOD - A Saturday morning "Christmas for Kids" event at the Ironwood Township Hall featured a steady line of children waiting for the chance to tell Santa what they hope to receive for Christmas. The Ironwood Township Volunteer Fire Department sponsored the annual event, which included a gift for each child in attendance. "It makes people happy," said Fire Chief Scott Carlson with a big grin.     IRONWOOD - It would be hard to fit many more people inside the Contrast Coffee in downtown Ironwood Sunday night as a large crowd turned out to see members of the Ewen-Trout Creek acapella choir perform. The group of 13 students performed acapella renditions of a mix of Christmas and pop songs to the approximately 50 audience members in attendance.
