HURLEY - The 6 to 8 inches of heavy snow that fell on Friday on the Gogebic Range improved conditions for all outdoor activities. IRONWOOD, Mich. - Roy Isaacson, 76, passed away on Nov. 14, 2018, at Westgate Nursing Home in Ironwood. Although he battled Alzheimer's and Parkinson's for several years, he lived a rich and rewarding life. His final days were spent surrounded by his family and the loving caregivers at Westgate. TYLER, Texas - Gayle Perkins, 81, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Dec. 24, 2018, at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler. Gayle was born in Jacksonville, Fla., on March 26, 1937, to Andrew Bascom Strange and Lucy Estelle Ryals.
