The increase is to help cover city expenses to replace lead service lines on residential properties, as mandated by the state to protect public health. IRONWOOD, Mich. - Marilyn D. DeCarlo, 81, of Ironwood passed away on Nov. 21, 2020, at Aspirus Ironwood Hospital in Ironwood. She was born on Jan. 16, 1939, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Charles and Louise (Haggerty) Mussatti. She attended local schools and graduated from A.D. Johnson High School in Bessemer in 1957. Marilyn was married to Albin "Beno" Corullo in 1957, and he preceded her in death in 1987. She married Thomas DeCarlo in 1986. BESSEMER, Mich. – Mary Johanna Tiradani, 98, a longtime resident of Bessemer, passed away Sunday, Nov. 15, 2020. Mary was born on Aug. 27, 1922, in Ironwood, a daughter of Domenic and Catterina (Bortoli) Dalle Ave. They moved to Lombard, Illinois when she was a child and later to Asiago, Italy. BESSEMER — A Wakefield man is in custody after being accused of being involved in a home invasion and several car break-ins in the city of Bessemer last week.
