BESSEMER — The Gogebic County Road Commission announced Monday that spring weight restrictions will take effect for county roads as of noon Thursday. A 5-ton limit will be enforced on all local county roads, according to the announcement, due to the minimal surface support and susceptibility of frost heave on the local roads — including the gravel roads.
