    HARTFORD, Wis. — Melvin “Mel” M. Williamson, 85, passed away peacefully on Monday, Sept. 23, 2019. He was born in Wakefield, Mich., on Dec. 18, 1933, to parents Matt and Linda (Hendrickson) Williamson. Mel graduated from A.D. Johnston High School in Bessemer, Mich., in 1951. He also attended Superior (Wis.) State College. He was united in marriage on July 14, 1956, to Barbara Laughner. Mel retired in 1989 from American Motors/Chrysler. He was born on June 6, 1954, the son of the late Lawrence and Mary (Heikkila) Brozzo. Joe served his country for four years in the U.S. Marine Corps in the early 1970s.     IRONWOOD - Nearly 1,000 people were impacted Thursday by the story of Daniel Olson. Daniel of Marquette was 19-years-old when he took his life by suicide. "Do It For Daniel" is a documentary of his struggle with depression and mental illness and a message of hope. Donald Pierre Jett, 52, was sentenced to at least 87 months in prison for possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine Wednesday.
