City manager Charly Loper said that it was discovered at the last election that the city did not have an ordinance specifically banning people from placing signs on city property. WAKEFIELD, Mich. - Cayley Olivia Schnell, age 21, passed away on Jan. 26, 2022, at her home in Wakefield, after suffering severe complications from lupus. Cayley was born on July 12, 2000, in Omaha, Nebraska, but her heart was always as close to Lake Superior as she could get.
