SAGINAW, Mich. - Noel David Massie, 72, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Saginaw on Feb. 15, 2022. Noel was born Sept. 23, 1949, in Bessemer, the son of Leo and Ann Salmi Massie. He attended the Bessemer Schools. He attended the Saguaro School for Asthmatic Children in Tucson, Arizona, for part of his elementary schooling, due to his severe asthma. The city council approved the purchase for $128,000 during its meeting on Monday after some discussion on the two possible trucks, opting for the one that cost $4,000 more. City manager Charly Loper said that it was discovered at the last election that the city did not have an ordinance specifically banning people from placing signs on city property. WAKEFIELD, Mich. - Cayley Olivia Schnell, age 21, passed away on Jan. 26, 2022, at her home in Wakefield, after suffering severe complications from lupus. Cayley was born on July 12, 2000, in Omaha, Nebraska, but her heart was always as close to Lake Superior as she could get.
