WAKEFIELD, Mich. - Joanne M. Hoffner, 91, of Gwinn, died Tuesday morning, Oct. 19, 2021, at the Gogebic Medical Care Facility in Wakefield. She was born June 25, 1930, in Bessemer Township, a daughter of John G. and Elizabeth (Longhini) Ulasich. She was a 1948 graduate of Luther L. Wright High School in Ironwood. If passed, the tax would allow the city to generate additional revenue by freeing up funding from the general fund.
