    ONTONAGON, Mich. — Clarence W. Linna passed away on Sunday, Nov. 15, at Aspirus Long Term Care in Ontonagon at the age of 87. Clarence was born in Bruce Crossing and lived there nearly all of his life. After graduating from Ewen High School, he married Alice Korri and they spent six years in Mt. Clemens, where he completed trade school to become a tool and die maker. They returned to Bruce’s in 1957 and he worked at White Pine Copper for the following 35 years until his retirement.     EWEN - Local firefighters responded to a fire at a hay farm in Ewen Thursday evening. The fire was at the old Woracheck homestead on Fair Oaks Road. The farm is owned by a Wisconsin group and provides hay for large dairy farms in Wisconsin. An excavator was used to try to pull some hay from the barn as firefighters were fighting the fire.
