A carnival is still pending. During the reorganization, the board elected Linda Nelson as chair and Shelley Suckow as vice-chair. In the 110th District of the Michigan House of Representatives, Greg Markkanen (R-Hancock) got 4,347 votes next to Democrat Kim Corcoran, who is Ironwood's mayor and earned 3,740 votes.
