Pauline was born Feb. 20, 1934, in the mining community of Montreal to Gabriel and Christian Rowe. She graduated from J.E. Murphy High School in Hurley with the Class of 1952. Pauline celebrated 64 years of marriage with Eugene Zani before he preceded her in death in March of 2016.
