The school started the meet to honor LaBlonde, a member of the school’s athletic hall of fame who died five years ago. HURLEY - Hurley won its annual golf invitational Tuesday at Eagle Bluff. The Northstars finished with a 196, 24 strokes ahead of runner-up Mellen. The meet was cut short to nine holes as rain moved into the area.
