He was born to parents Samuel and Margaret Bratu in Hancock, on Feb. 1, 1960. On July 21, 1979, he married his high school sweet heart, Rose Schneck, who survives. HURLEY - Northern Iron County's snowmobile season is over. The Iron County Forestry Department closed all snowmobile and ATV trails in the northern part of the county as of 8 a.m. Monday.
