HURLEY — The city of Hurley received a favorable 2016 audit report at its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday. A representative of the Wipfli company presented an overview of the audit, saying the city received an unmodified, or “clean” opinion. There were no concerns in the water-sewer budget. IRONWOOD, Mich. — Muriel E. Nikula, 91, of Bessemer, formerly of Illinois, died on Sunday, Oct. 1, 2017, in Ironwood.
