According to Iron County Clerk Michael Saari, while the budget still needs to be approved by the full county board, the expected county millage rate will be .00476 — which translates to $4.76 for every $1,000 of taxable value. Mayor Joe Pinardi said the resolution resulted after all 72 counties met recently to discuss the lack of road funding.
