The Ashland County Sheriff's Department said an 82-year-old man was found dead early Thursday in a pickup truck in the floodwaters of the Marengo River. A violent lightning storm Monday evening caused flooding that washed out Iron County roadways, downed trees and severely damaged Saxon Harbor, where a man was found dead in his vehicle.
