Ouellette said an arrestor blew at a substation in Ironwood, causing thousands of residents to lose power.     IRONWOOD TOWNSHIP — A 49-year-old Hurley man died in a Saturday afternoon kayaking accident on the Black River. Clint Mabie suffered a head injury around 2:30 p.m. while kayaking near Narrows Creek, according to Michigan State Police from the Wakefield Post.
