WYOCENA, Wis. - James "Coach" Butterbrodt died peacefully in Wyocena, on Friday, Oct. 6, 2023. James was born on May 24, 1930, to Harold Butterbrodt and Verona Hammer in Beaver Dam. He attended Beaver Dam high school, lettering in football, basketball, track and golf. He avidly participated in scouting, achieving Eagle Scout. The vote followed a public hearing that drew no comment. SAXON, Wis. - Robert E. "Butch" Rowe, 83, of Saxon, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 7, 2023. Robert was born on June 24, 1940, at home in Gurney, Wisconsin. The son of the late Lester and Lucille (Lee) Rowe, he was one of seven kids. Robert graduated from Saxon High School in 1958, and was a member of the U.S. Army Reserves from 1958 to 1963.
