    IRONWOOD, Mich. - Clifford "Chip" Muhonen, 88, of Ramsay, passed away on Feb. 29, 2020. He was born May 5, 1931, in Ironwood, son of John and Helmi (Pasanen) Muhonen. He attended local schools and Gogebic Community College. Clifford worked at the Bessemer Creamery, Bessemer Plywood and retired from the White Pine Copper Mine.     IRONWOOD TOWNSHIP - Seventh graders from Bessemer's A.D. Johnston Middle School recently attended a snowshoeing and winter survival field trip at Wolverine Nordic Trails in Ironwood Township. The field trip was led by Brian Doughty of Michigan Tech as one of MTU's winter field trip offerings.
