GLISSON [email protected] MERCER, Wis. — The recent death of John Sendra of Mercer has resulted in an empty seat on the Iron County Board of Supervisors, but it is not expected to be filled until an election next spring. Sendra died on Sept. 28 at the age of 78. HURLEY, Wis. - Dolores Marie Bjork, 89, of Hurley, went to her Heavenly home on Friday, Sept. 8, 2023, at the Villa Maria Nursing Home in Hurley. WAUSAU, Wis. - Wanda Sue Holmes passed away peacefully on Aug. 1, 2023, at Mount View Care Center in Wausau, from a brave battle from ALS.
