Ironwood’s rain total for the month stood at 8.73 inches as of Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service office in Marquette. The record through June 20 stands at 9.05 inches set in 1939. HURLEY, Wis. - Joseph C. "Joe" Pecotte, 82, passed away peacefully, Sunday, June 10, 2018, at 4 p.m. in his home, surrounded by his family. Joe was born in Alton, Ill., on Oct. 28, 1935, to Clyde and Evelyn Pecotte. GILE, Wis. — A new fee to use the Gile Flowage boat landing at the park didn’t stop fishermen from heading out on the water Monday.
