IRONWOOD, Mich. - Robert Michael "Boom Boom" Cannon, 88, of Ironwood, died peacefully on Friday morning, Nov. 15, 2024, surrounded by his family. Bob was born on Dec. 17, 1935, in Ironwood, a son of Felix and Irene (Olson) Cannon. He attended Ironwood schools and graduated from Luther L. Wright High School in 1953. WAKEFIELD, Mich. — Wayne Carl Kangas, age 68, of Ironwood, passed away Oct. 27, 2024, at Gogebic Medical Care Facility in Wakefield. He was born Feb. 24, 1956, to Florence and Andrew “Bill” Kangas. He attended Bessemer Area Schools. He worked as a body man for Broman’s Auto Body and Rammes Body Shop. He also worked in construction. BESSEMER, Mich. - Mary Ann Kitto, 79, of Bessemer, returned to her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024, and was reunited with the love of her life, Dean James Kitto Sr. Mary Ann was born on Oct. 30, 1945, to Dwight and Bertha (Thornton) Meredith in Pulaski, Virginia. She had a hard life growing up living in coal mining towns with her seven siblings.
