The Fourth of July is a time for communities across the area to gather and celebrate. Many communities have planned parades, games in the park and fireworks. RAMSAY — A fundraising event begun to help defray the costs of shuttling Watersmeet football players to Wakefield-Marenisco over a decade ago has shed another skin and taken on new life. WAKEFIELD, Mich. - Wilbur S. Olson, 90, of Wakefield, passed away peacefully on the evening of May 9, 2017, at Gogebic Medical Care Facility where he had resided since 2009.
