    WAKEFIELD, Mich. - Kathleen "Kay" Alicia Johnson, 91, triumphed over death and entered her eternal home on May 4, 2017, at the Gogebic Medical Care Facility in Wakefield, where she had been a resident since 2011. Kay was born to Robert and Agnes Marriott on Feb. 13, 1926, in Yorkshire County, England. Her family later moved to Ecchinswell, Hampshire, England, where she lived until coming to the United States. Bob was born Sept. 22, 1940, in Houghton, a son of Edwin George and Angeline Anna (Turk) Rickard. He attended A.D. Johnston High School in Bessemer and graduated in 1959.     IRONWOOD, Mich. - J.F. Speck, 89, of Ironwood, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017, at his home. He was born Oct. 9, 1927, in Montrose, Colo., the son of the late McHenry "Mack" and Rachel (Page) Speck. J.F. attended schools in Colorado. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during World War II. On June 8, 1948, he married Peggy Ann Davis. She preceded him in death in October of 1992.
