The increase is to help cover city expenses to replace lead service lines on residential properties, as mandated by the state to protect public health. HANCOCK — More than 20 people in Gogebic County have died related to the coronavirus pandemic, the Western Upper Peninsula Health Department reported Monday, as local health officials continue to work to limit the spread of the virus.
