    WAKEFIELD — The Wakefield-Marenisco Board of Education voted Monday to increase its Great Start Readiness Program from half-day sessions to full days, starting March 1. The action on the state-funded preschool program followed an increase of $5 million in GSRP funds in Michigan’s current fiscal year budget. Kramarsic, 40, of Granville, Illinois, was killed in a snowmobile crash in Iron County Sunday night. Iron County Emergency Dispatch received a 911 call at approximately 12:53 a.m., according to Iron County Sheriff Paul Samardich, reporting the crash on Trail 10 in the town of Mercer. Joe Erickson, Ontonagon Village manager told the council that he has received an amended work plan from the Corps, which shows an additional $1.1 million in dredging that is now budgeted for the harbor.
