The report said the U.P. civilian labor force was at 136,800 in May. This is a 0.4% annual increase from 136,300 in May 2018, and a 0.4% monthly increase from 136,600 in April 2019. BESSEMER — An Iron River man pleaded guilty for taking a car from an Ironwood parking lot in Gogebic Circuit Court on Tuesday. Kyle Cal Kontney, 26, pleaded guilty to unlawfully driving away with a vehicle and use of methamphetamine as part of a plea agreement.
