The partial thaw of three frost tubes located on three Ontonagon County highways was recorded by the Ontonagon County Road Commission Wednesday. The tubes are located on U.S. 45 in Woodspur, U.S. 45 near Bruce Crossing and M-64 between White Pine and Bergland. ONTONAGON — The Ontonagon Village Council approved the 2019-2020 budget which is approximately $1 million less than last year. Total revenues and expenses in the new budget balance are at $3,266,245. The budget is significantly less than the previous one because of the number of grants and projects that were completed in the 2018-19 term.
