BESSEMER — The execution of a search warrant on a Bessemer area restaurant Thursday led to the arrest of a Bessemer resident on methamphetamine charges. WATERSMEET — A 55-year-old Wisconsin man died Wednesday after falling through the ice on Thousand Island Lake in Watersmeet Township, according to a Lac Vieux Desert Tribal Police press release.
