Wright fifth grader Sarah Lauzon received a third place writing award Friday from Gretchen Preston, vice-president of the Upper Peninsula Publishers Authors Association, and Larry Buege, Valley Cat series author and contest coordinator.     IRONWOOD — The city of Ironwood will receive a $469,000 grant from the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality. City Manager Scott Erickson announced the grant near the end of Monday’s regular city commission meeting. Erickson said the grant will be used for inventorying the city’s water distribution system.
