While the state’s unemployment rate for January was 3.1 percent, the rate for Iron County stood at 6 percent, followed by Bayfield County’s 5.6 percent. BESSEMER — Scott David Salmi, 43, of Bessemer, was arrested during execution of a search warrant at the Black River Valley Pub on Thursday, was arraigned on Friday in Gogebic County Circuit Court.
