Karin Marie George, 37, pleaded guilty to stealing/retaining a financial transaction device without consent, a potential four-year felony. In April, there were 500 people unemployed in Gogebic County, according to the Michigan Bureau of Labor market. In September, that number fell to 325, with unemployment of 5 percent.     BESSEMER — An Ironwood man was sentenced to prison Thursday in Gogebic County Circuit Court for violating the terms of his probation. Thomas Raymond, 35, of Ironwood, was sentenced to 36 to 60 months in prison by Judge Michael Pope.
