    BLACK RIVER HARBOR — The annual Labor Day Weekend Fishing Derby at Black River Harbor kicks off today with Powderpuff (women’s) competition. The Black River Harbor Boating Club contest runs through noon on Labor Day and visitors to the harbor can stop and view the fish and awards ceremony on Monday afternoon. Prizes are awarded in the lake trout, salmon and rainbow-brown trout divisions. Powderpuff fish are not eligible to enter the main derby from Saturday through Monday.     IRONWOOD — Following a “successful” phase I of the Western Gateway Trail project, the trail authority looks to trek on. Construction of phase I in Ironwood began earlier in the summer and was completed in mid-July.
