BESSEMER — Two men and a woman were arrested in Bessemer Thursday on charges of delivery/possession with intent to deliver heroin and methamphetamine, according to a Gogebic Iron Area Narcotics Team news release. ROCKLAND — The Ontonagon County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a fatal snowmobile accident by Negaunee Regional dispatch Wednesday evening at 10:35. The accident occurred on Trail 12, 1/4 mile south of Old Victoria Rd. in Rockland Township. The council authorized MSA Professional Services, the city’s engineering company, to apply for the Community Development Block Grant. All proceeds raised from the event benefit the annual Hurley Fireworks every July. HURLEY — Members of the Iron County Regional Trail Committee got some good news Thursday as they were informed the group’s Coastal Management Grant had cleared an initial hurdle and is one step closer to being funded.
